Villa Location This farmhouse is set in a nature reserve on the edge of Tori Solí Nou and close to the beach of San Jaime and Son Bou. Set amid beautiful fields, a private path leads through wonderful woodland full of wild flowers, including wild orchids. A private, yet not remote, location. The beach resort of Son Bou is an easy 10 minute walk, where there is a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants in the small commercial centre. The old town of Alaior, which dates back to 1304, is a 5 minute drive away, and has succeeded in retaining a medieval flavour. Here you can stroll through the narrow winding streets and enjoy its large selection of shops, restaurants and local bars. The capital Maó and the airport are both only 15 minutes by car.
Villa Accommodation 
This beautiful old Menorcan farmhouse, furnished with quality antiques, has been lovingly restored using natural materials to retain its original features. In keeping with the overall design the farmhouse is surrounded by natural terracing set in a very private and mature garden, providing lovely shaded areas and large fig trees. During the day you can explore the beautiful countryside where orchids grow freely, walk to the beach, or relax by the 11m swimming pool. Whilst not offering air conditioning, the thickness of the walls means that even on the hottest days the house remains cool. Ground Floor - Open plan living space • Small traditional kitchen in keeping with the farmhouse it has a hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a washing machine in a utility room. • The open plan living area is tastefully furnished and has Sat TV, video and CD player. There is lovely old water well safely protected in this room. • A very pretty twin bedroom with french windows onto a terrace. • A pretty double bedroom with en-suite shower room • Separate shower room. First Floor • A pretty twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and a small balcony that overlooks the pool. This bedroom leads to the master bedroom. • The master bedroom is spacious and again very pretty, it has an en-suite shower room and balcony overlooking open countryside. Outside • In keeping with the farmhouse it is surrounded by natural mares terracing, there is a dining area next to the swimming pool (roman steps). • The very pretty garden is well established, private and has some lovely shaded areas; an original bread oven has been converted into a stone seating area. *** Prices are for a party of 4 persons, for larger parties please add £50 per person, except High Season where the price is for the villa irrespective of party size *** |
