Villa Location A beautiful farmhouse that is a much loved second home. Situated in the pretty hamlet of Pou Nou and a easy walk to the old town of Sant Lluís. A truly wonderful piece of genuine Menorca Pou Nou is a pretty, traditional and unspoilt Menorcan hamlet with white washed houses and narrow lanes and is a charming and very sought after location. The town of Sant Lluís is a convenient 2-minute walk away and has banks, shops and a selection of very good quality restaurants, as well as local bars. The sandy beaches of Alcaufar, Binibeca and Punta Prima are a few minutes by car. The capital Maó and the airport are both only 15 minutes by car.
Villa Accommodation 
This wonderful little farmhouse has been well designed to maximize the accommodation without losing any of its style or character. When staying here all you’ll want to do is sit, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, either in the pretty, walled garden or next to the large 10m swimming pool. In the evening after a gentle stroll back from enjoying a delicious local meal you can sit on the terrace and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a nightcap at the end of another wonderful day. The thickness of the external walls means that even on the hottest days the house remains cool. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans. Ground Floor – open plan living space • The well-equipped kitchen is open plan and has hob/oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine is located next to the bathroom. • The dining area is in the large traditional hallway, which is cool and airy. • The living area has high beamed ceilings keeping it cool in the summer and comfortable seating with TV, DVD and CD player. Pretty french windows open onto the poolside terrace. • Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room overlooking the pool terrace • Twin bedroom overlooking the pool terrace • Separate bathroom First Floor • Master suite has the original beams and there is pretty en-suite shower room, dressing area and an original door opens onto a terrace which enjoys lovely views over the hamlet of Pou Nou. Outside • There is a lovely swimming pool (roman steps) with a surrounding sun terrace that gets the sun for most of the day and a pergola covered dining terrace with teak dining table and chairs plus a BBQ. • To the front of the farmhouse is a private and very pretty small lawned garden with Mediterranean shrubs, flowers and herbs, it is surround by a traditional dry stone wall. |
