Villa Location A lovely farmhouse with plenty of charm that is located in the unspoilt village of Llucmaçanes and surrounded by open countryside. It has a private and well–established garden full of wild flowers, olive and palm trees and a pretty courtyard. Llucmaçanes is a traditional Menorcan village, with white painted houses and a pretty church standing in the old square. There is a local shop, which will cater for most of your requirements and owned by a friendly Spanish family. Sant Lluís with its shops, banks and restaurants is 5 minutes by car and the sandy beaches of Alcalfar, Binibeca and Punta Prima are a short drive away. Maó and the airport are both only 5 minutes by car.
Villa Accommodation 
The farmhouse has retained much of its original character and charm, and the architecture is typical of Menorca, creating a feeling of light and space. A twin bedroom leads to a good size double bedroom with en-suite shower room making it ideal for families with younger children. The pretty courtyard is ideal for a quiet relaxing breakfast while enjoying the morning papers, from here a path leads to the large and private 12m pool, which is surrounded by a traditional Menorcan dry stone walling. The large wilderness garden with it’s array of Mediterranean trees, plants and shrubs is a great place for the children to explore and look for native tortoises and see the neighbours donkey. The thickness of the external walls means that even on the hottest days the house remains cool. Ground Floor • A traditional Menorcan kitchen with hob/oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. • Washing machine is in a separate room • Pretty dining room. • The sitting room is traditional in style with sofas and french windows overlooking the garden large. • Self contained bedroom areas with double and a twin bedroom, en-suite shower room and a small seating area. • Separate bathroom. First Floor • Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a large window overlooking garden • Twin Bed room • Access to the double is through the twin bedroom Outside • There is a pretty courtyard ideal for sunbathing or enjoying a BBQ. A garden path leads to a large swimming pool (12 x 4m roman steps) built in the private walled garden, with a terrace overlooking open countryside and neighbours donkey. • A pathway leads from the house to the driveway, which allows access from the road and where several cars can be parked. From here it leads into the large wilderness garden that is surrounded by a traditional Menorcan dry stone wall.
