Villa Location Located at the end of a long private drive, this is an exceptional country house on a private estate with large mature gardens, extensive lawns, wonderful outside facilities and panoramic views down to the south coast over rolling countryside. Close to the old towns of Ferreries and Es Migjorn and a short drive from the beach resort of Sant Tomàs, this is the perfect place to escape the stresses of everyday life and enjoy the tranquillity of Menorca. The traditional town of Ferreries is a 2 minute drive away, with narrow streets, the lovely Plaça d’Espanya and banks, shops, quality restaurants and great local bars. The beautiful town of Ciutadella the historic town of Menorca is 10 minutes away by car The quiet resort of Sant Tomàs with its beautiful long strip of white sand and a good beach bar / restaurant and two Astroturf tennis courts is a 10 minute drive away. The capital Maó and the airport are both only 25 minutes by car.
Villa Accommodation 
This wonderful house started life many years ago as a country estate and over the last forty years has been tastefully transformed into a wonderful home with sweeping lawns and mature gardens. The house is large and comfortable and the layout is excellent for either two families sharing or one family with staff, as there are two wings, but it is the outside facilities that make this house truly exceptional. The beautiful mature gardens, large open terraces and sweeping lawns are all cared for by a resident gardener. During the day you can enjoy the substantial swimming pool with an infinity edge overlooking the immaculate rolling lawns and enjoy a lazy lunch by the pool and in the evening relax and dine with friends in the spacious barn with large doors opening on to a courtyard with antique dining table and seating for 12. All bedrooms and the living room benefit from air-conditioning. Ground Floor • Spacious entrance hall • Well-equipped traditional Menorcan style kitchen with hob/oven, dishwasher and large American style fridge freezer. • A pretty Breakfast/Dining room with access to the courtyard, it has a large corner table with bench seating. • The living room is elegant with comfortable sofas, Sat TV, DVD player and air-conditioning. Large french windows open onto the courtyard. • A pretty twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and french windows onto the courtyard. • An equally pretty double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. • Separate shower room (access from courtyard) First floor – access from main entrance hall • Large master bedroom with air-conditioning and wonderful views across the garden and beyond. • Twin bedroom with washbasin. • Separate bathroom with shower over the bath First floor – access from the back stair case • A lovely twin bedroom with pretty en-suite bathroom and views across the courtyard towards the pool. Outside • Outside this country house is stunning with it's beautiful mature gardens and large open terraces. • There are two dining areas; the spacious barn with large doors opening onto the courtyard, an antique dining table and seating for 12, the other is on the pool terrace and again has plenty of seating and a large table. • The substantial swimming pool (roman steps) with an infinity edge overlooks the immaculate rolling lawns. • Separate shower room and separate laundry room is accessed from the courtyard. There is a roof terrace, but caution should be given for children. |
