Villa Location Situated on the edge of the unspoilt village of Llucmaçanes with its white painted houses and surrounded by countryside. This beautiful old Menorcan farmhouse stands in a large established private garden with almond, olive and fruit trees. Llucmaçanes is a traditional Menorcan village, with white painted houses and a pretty church standing in the old square. There is a local shop, which will cater for most of your requirements and is owned by a friendly Spanish family. Sant Lluís with its shops, banks and restaurants is 5 minutes by car and the sandy beaches of Alcalfar, Binibeca and Punta Prima are a short drive away. Maó and the airport are both only 5 minutes by car.
Villa Accommodation 
This wonderful farmhouse has been lovingly restored to an exceptionally high standard and attention to every detail. During the restoration none of the original style or character has been lost and it has been tastefully furnished with a clever mixture of quality antiques and state-of-the-art pieces making it a comfortable second home. The house is spacious and designed to provide privacy for families sharing. There is a great children’s snug room with a comfortable sofa, which makes a great chill out area for young and old alike. Outside there is a fantastic inside/outside living area with all the modern facilities, the dining area is designed for total relaxation and enjoyment with typical Mediterranean low seating and plenty of cushions to enable you to just chill out whether enjoying a lazy lunch or getting together with friends and family. Within this area there is a wonderful day bed and is ideal for children to take an afternoon nap, being close to the pool parents can relax and enjoy a quiet moment and not have to keep popping back to the house to check that the children are ok. The 12m swimming pool has been designed to blend in with the beautiful and well established garden and woodland. All the bedrooms benefit from air-conditioning. Ground Floor • Well-equipped kitchen/dining has a hob/oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a large dining table and access to an outside passageway. • Utility room with washing machine, shower and WC. • The beautiful and spacious living room is comfortably furnished and has an original open fireplace and traditional beamed ceiling. • Children’s snug room with comfortable slouching sofa, Sat TV and DVD player. • A pretty double bedroom with en-suite shower room and private terrace. • Charming twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to the garden. First Floor • Pretty double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and lovely sun terrace with pergola overlooking the garden. This is a wonderful place to relax if you want to escape the rest of the party and enjoy some ‘Me time’. • A lovely twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and small balcony overlooking the garden. Outside • There is a wonderful inside/outside dining area with large table, kitchen(hob/oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher),great day bed and separate shower room. On the terrace outside there is a large BBQ and shaded seating area. • A large swimming pool (roman steps) with large pergola built from Menorcan dry stone walling surrounded by a well-established mature garden and wooded area. It is a must to sit under, in the evening sipping a glass of cava and enjoying the warm Menorcan night. • There is a large separate dining table and chairs located in the wooded area, which is shaded and very pretty. |
