Villa Location Situated in the village of Torret, on the southern end of the island approx. 2 mins. from the pretty town of Sant Lluís. The village of Torret is a very pretty traditional and unspoilt Menorcan village with it's white washed houses and views over open countryside. The village has a couple of restaurants. Along the lane is the hamlet of S'Ullastrar where there is a small restaurant with a pretty garden and dining terrace and the well stocked supermarket 'Sa Botiga' nicknamed 'Fortnum and Masons' with everything from fresh bread to locally made sausages. The most noticeable thing about Sant Lluís is that it is a non-tourist residential area, and is approximately a 15 minutes walk from Torret; here you will find banks, shops and a selection of very good quality restaurants, as well as local bars. The location is convenient to Maó and the airport, both being only 15 minutes away by car, as well as being in an ideal position to explore the beaches and coves, which are easily accessible.
Villa Accommodation 
This large old Menorcan farmhouse has been lovingly restored and includes two separate casitas, which provides privacy for two couples sharing one property. Located in the exclusive village of Torret, close to the small town of Sant Lluís, overlooking open countryside. The open plan living accommodation is in the main house with a traditional Italian influence and is tastefully furnished with antiques in keeping with the style of the farmhouse. There is a large sitting room with comfortable sofas, Sat TV, DVD and CD player. French doors opening onto large covered terrace overlooking the pool, large lawned area and views down to the south coast. From the sitting room a couple of steps lead to a separate dining area with a large table and plenty of seating. On this level is well-equipped bespoke kitchen with microwave, hob/oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. From the kitchen there is a door leading into a pretty courtyard with large palm tree. Directly in front of the house in the garden are the casitas, these are completely self-contained. One has a double and a twin bedroom plus a bathroom and a small kitchen. The other has a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Both have french windows overlooking the garden and pool area. Outside is very pretty; there are several terraces, a covered dining terrace, a courtyard, a lovely lawned garden with large pool (11.5m x 5.5m) and views over open countryside. |
